Upper Thames River Conservation Authority

This project being one of the first of its kind for Southwestern Ontario consisted of the demolition of the existing building to make way for a new two storey Administration facility with over 34,000 square feet of space. The existing building was required to be retained during the construction of the new building. The building locations were so close in proximity that it required a phased arrangement for completion. The new building had to brought to a stage that it could be occupied for its intended use, however the new main entrance could not be completed until the existing building was demolished. Incorporating many "Green" initiatives enabled this project to be in a position to apply for "LEED Platinum" certification.
