Medway Secondary School

The existing large high school facility was improved by major upgrades and additions to serve over 1250 students. This included several substantial additions to the building, to provide a 2-storey science wing, add a resource centre, a 3rd gym, new entrance and elevator as well as expansion of the technology wing, which expanded the facility by 3,723m2. The first phase of construction occurred while the school remained occupied, work being accessed by way of a temporary roadway. Renovations to the entire existing building of 12,660m2 provided improved classroom and administrative spaces, general window replacement, a new sprinkler system, as well as complete replacement of the mechanical and electrical systems.
