Lambton Financial Bank, Sarnia
This two storey credit union building, constructed on a brownfield site, was challenged with high groundwater and a constricted site. The masonry clad main floor facade includes expanses of glazing with well-lit interior spaces and lobby while the building's services provide for employee elevator accessibility and client walk-in and drive-through banking. The scale of the building combined with its sloped roof allows blending with the surrounding residential and business neighbourhood. A decorative sound wall on the east property line completed the extensive soft and hardscape site works.
